Is this wallet the main one, or a copy?
Paste one wallet and Ocinct reads the trades that landed before each of its buys. If it follows someone, you get the name. Copying a follower means paying its delay on every trade. Pro and Elite, 2 tool credits a search.
How Ocinct finds the main wallet
- 1
Take its tokens
Ocinct takes the last 8 tokens the wallet bought, 16 on Elite.
- 2
Read who bought before
On each token, the 100 trades that landed before its own buy, read on the chain.
- 3
Compare with a control
The same 100 trades again, five minutes earlier. A name that shows up in both is noise.
- 4
Name the wallet
Only a wallet ahead of it on half the tokens, within a minute, beats the control and gets named.
Four answers, and what to do with each
It copies someone
One wallet bought before it on most of its tokens, seconds ahead. Copy that one instead and you stop paying its delay.
It leads the group
It is first on half the tokens the group shares, and well ahead of the second. That is the wallet to follow.
Same hand
The buys land in the same slot, about 316 milliseconds as measured on the chain. That is one person with several wallets, not a signal to copy.
Nobody leads
Many different wallets arrive first, none beats the control. They read the same signal, they do not read each other.
Why a leaderboard wallet is often a follower
A wallet can post a clean month and still be the wrong one to copy. It bought the same tokens as somebody faster, forty seconds later, and kept a smaller share of every move. You copy it, you land forty seconds behind that, and the profit that made the card is gone before your order fills.
The search runs on one wallet or on a group of up to ten. On a group, Ocinct says which one buys first, or that they are the same hand, or that all of them follow a wallet you never listed.
Questions
How do you find the main wallet of a Solana crew?
Take the tokens the wallets have in common and count who buys first on each one. A wallet first on half of them, and clearly ahead of the second, is the main wallet. One or two wins is chance.
What if all the wallets buy at the same time?
Buys inside the same slot, 316 milliseconds on average when we measured it, cannot be ordered without reading the whole block. Ocinct calls them one hand: one person running several wallets. There is nothing to copy there.
Why does a control window matter?
On a busy token dozens of wallets buy before anyone. Ocinct counts them again in a window five minutes earlier. A wallet that shows up in both windows buys everything and proves nothing.
Are trading bots named as the source?
No. A wallet with more than 300 buys in a week is in front of everybody by construction, so it is dropped. Measured on a real setup: one such wallet had 1,199 buys in seven days.
What does it cost?
Two tool credits per search, refunded when the chain cannot be read. Pro includes 20 credits a month, Elite 150.
Find out who the wallet is really following.
2 credits a search. The wallet scan itself is free.
