Solana copy trading glossary

The words on a wallet scan and in the guides, defined once.

Copy trading: Following another wallet's trades with your own money, usually through a bot that buys when it buys and sells when it sells. Your fills land after the target's, so every copy carries extra slippage.
Funded by: The wallet that sent a Solana wallet its first native SOL transfer. Shown on explorers as Funded by. It cannot be edited after the fact and is the starting point of a funding trail.
Funding trail: The chain of funders: the wallet's funder, the funder's funder, and so on until an exchange, a bridge, a loop or an unknown funder. Ocinct walks 3 levels on Pro and 6 on Elite.
Funder: The sender of a wallet's first SOL. Often an exchange hot wallet or a bridge for a human trader, and a relay wallet for a wallet farm.
Relay wallet: A wallet created to split one exchange withdrawal into many small transfers that fund a batch of trading wallets. The signature of a crew being set up.
Crew: A group of wallets run by one operator. Detected by a shared funder, buys within a second of each other, or a stable leader that always trades first.
Wallet farm: A crew run to make a launch look like organic demand or to place several wallets on a leaderboard so one of them gets copied.
Bundler: An operator that buys a launch with many wallets in one transaction bundle. Each wallet looks like a separate buyer. A risk tag on the Ocinct score.
Sniper: A wallet that buys in the first blocks of a launch, before a human could react. Its win rate comes from latency. A risk tag on the Ocinct score.
Sandwich bot: A bot that places a buy just before someone else's swap and a sell just after it, taking the price move in between. A risk tag.
Dev team: A wallet that trades tokens it deployed or that its funder deployed. Its results come from knowing, not from picking. A risk tag.
Rat trader: A wallet that trades against the buyers it brings in, for example by promoting a token and selling into the demand. A risk tag.
Insider: A wallet that traded a token before the information that moved it was public. On-chain, it often shows as a funding link to the deployer or a buy in the launch bundle.
Realized PnL: Profit or loss on trades that are closed: sold, in whole or in part. The only part of PnL that is money. Ocinct scores realized profit over 30 days on a log scale.
Unrealized PnL: The paper value of positions still held, at the current price. It can be large and untakeable on an illiquid token. Shown apart from realized profit on a scan.
Win rate: The share of tokens closed in profit over a period. Ignores size and open positions. Ocinct calls it tokens sold in profit and caps its points at 70 percent.
Return on money spent: Realized profit divided by what the wallet bought, in percent. Separates a wallet that doubles $2,000 from a whale that scalps 2 percent on $500,000.
Outcome buckets: How many of a wallet's tokens lost more than half, lost, gained up to 2x, gained 2x to 5x, gained above 5x. Win rate with the size put back in.
Average hold: The mean time between a wallet's buy and its sell on the same token. Seconds means a bot. Tens of minutes to hours means a decision you could copy.
Ocinct Score: A 0 to 100 number from realized profit, win rate, return on money spent, consistency and activity, minus penalties for risk tags and open losses. Same inputs, same score. The method is on the How the score works page.
Risk tag: A label for behaviour a follower cannot reproduce: sniper, bundler, rat trader, dev team, sandwich bot. Each removes 20 points from the score, up to 40.
Exit liquidity: The buyers a seller needs in order to sell. When you copy a wallet late, you are often its exit liquidity: you buy what it sells.
Slippage: The difference between the price you expected and the price you got. Copies need more slippage tolerance than the original trade because they land later.
Priority fee and tip: Extra payment to get a transaction included sooner. Copy bots use it to shorten the delay behind the target. It does not remove the delay.
Leaderboard: A list of wallets ranked by profit over a period. Rewards snipers, bundlers and insiders because they make the most on paper, and never groups wallets by funder.
KOL wallet: A wallet publicly linked to a known account on X or Telegram. Being known says nothing about whether the wallet is worth copying; scan it like any other.
Fresh wallet: A wallet funded recently with a short record. Read its funder to see where the operator traded before.
List scan: Ocinct's bulk scan: up to 100 addresses in one message, each scored, filtered by your rules, returned with a CSV of every result. Pro and Elite.
Preset: A ready made set of filters in the bot: quick check, steady winners, big hitters, fast scalpers, patient swing traders. A starting point you can adjust.
Tool credit: The unit that pays for the Pro tools: token traders 1, who copies who 2, beat the copiers 3. Pro includes 20 a month, Elite 150, packs are sold apart, and a failed run is refunded.
Token traders: Ocinct's tool that lists the 100 most profitable traders of a token, grouped by funder, and sends them into a list scan. Pro and Elite.
Deep dive: The Pro part of a scan card: the wallet's recent trades, its all time profit and every token it launched itself.
Grade: The letter next to the score. A from 80, B from 65, C from 50, D from 35, F below.
Slot: The unit of time in which Solana orders transactions, about 316 milliseconds when measured in September 2026. Two buys in the same slot cannot be ordered by timestamp.
Same hand: Ocinct's verdict when several wallets buy in the same slot on most shared tokens: one person with several wallets, not a signal to copy.
Control window: The same count of early buyers run again five minutes earlier. A wallet that appears in both windows buys everything and proves nothing.
